There is surprisingly good writeup in the Haynes manual if you have it.
Summarizing:
1. Remove the battery cable for 20 minutes.
2. Turn the wheel so that you can get at the two Torx screws behind the steering wheel yoke.
3. Loosen the screws and pry the airbag out of the wheel. The screws are retained in the yoke.
4. Disconnect the airbag connector and set aside the airbag.
5. Turn the wheel to the straight ahead position and mark the steering shaft and the steering wheel so that you can fit it back correctly.
6. Remove the steering wheel nut, and pull the steering wheel off the splined shaft while feeding the contact cables through the hole in the steering wheel.
7. Remove the upper and lower cowling.
8. Disconnect the clockspring and remove it.
Reassembly is the reverse.
Sometimes the wheel is hard o get off the splined shaft. A wheel puller might help, but I don't remember if the wheel has the threaded holes needed for the puller to work. If you don't go nuts, you can thread the steering wheel nut half way back on to the shaft, and pull out on the wheel while gently tapping on the nut with a hammer. If you whack at it too hard, you can damage the collapsible steering column or the threads on the nut.
You will have to get the SRS system reset when you are done.
