I went through a mess with my drivers side axle...
-NEW- from Worldpac at only $85.00.
Turned out to be for an auto trans, not manual trans. Even though it was listed as being for the manual trans, they had no other axles to offer.
So got a refund on that.
Took the bad one and got it rebuilt and the rebuild job was junk... the guy refused to refund because he claimed the splines had play in them. BS, but life goes on.
So we went to an alternate local parts source that had a rebuilt one on hand. Worked great.
Fast forward a few months and now the psgr side axle is popping.
Our parts supplier claims they are NLA.
Another supplier says the same thing. Hmmmm...
Anyone know where to point me?
I really don't want to spend big $$ for brand new, just need a good quality rebuilt axle.
I don't want to spend $90 on a brand new joint and then have to mess with installing that (BTDT too many times in the past)...
All I want is a good quality rebuilt axle I can just slide back in, and for a reasonable price.
thanks all!
Matt
