Hey - see my recent posting on the c900 board. Search for Gliptone leather dye or sommething like that.
I just redyed my drivers side bolster on my 90 SPG (with dark buffalo grey) to superb results. I wrote a whole post about how I did it after alot of research on ferrari /porsche / hi-end car restoration message boards. I figured I wanted to do it right and those guys would have tried it.
I looked at leatherique dye, some other company I think that was called ColorPlus and decided on Gliptone. They're all pretty much the same thing - water based dye/paint. You can either use a small sponge to touch up tiny scuffs or for larger panels, wipe seats with mineral spirits, wet sand with 600 / 1000 grit sandpaper, removing color but not sueding leather, let dry, then apply the leather dye. Then add maybe 1 or 2 more coats 30 mins apart.
Did this on my SPG about 6 weeks ago now, daily driver, looks perfect still.
