I figured out that the pulley is simply pressed onto the shaft. I borrowed a puller from the local parts store where I bought the pump. Problem solved.
I'm still working on removing one of the two bolts that hold the pump to the bracket. The head of the bolt is rounded off. I tried to use a vice grip wrench after taking the pulley off, but that did not work. I'm going to try welding a nut onto the head of the bolt. Hopefully this will work. Next step will be to cut off the bolt, but that will probably destroy the core.
Regards,
Mike P
