...and in that car, it's much more accessible. But the 9000 deviates from 900 practice. Who knew that one day Saab would see fit to orient the engine somehow DIFFERENT from the 900, i.e., NOT facing backwards sitting atop the transmission?
But like so many things, once you've done the thermostat once in the 9000, the next time will be much simpler. There's no reason to remove the throttle body; just get the requisite size crescent wrench and go in there patiently.
