Pulled headliner and moonroof pan from '97 CSE at junkyard, sold headliner, installed pan in '92 9000T replacing steel sunroof assembly - was a simple bolt-in.
Everything that holds the headliner up comes out - A, B, C pillar trims, visors, clip at rear center, etc.
Then the headliner comes out.
Then the hoses come out.
Then various plugs and clips and screws around the motor at the front come off.
Then about a dozen M6 nuts (10mm socket) holding various bolts and retainers come off.
Then you better be ready to catch the thing, if you're working alone (as I was) you can stack some pillows on the front seatbacks to catch the front.
It's all pretty self-explanatory once you get the headliner out, reinstalling takes a little finesse to make sure everything's lined up properly.
All the above assumes a hatchback, not a CD, can't say whether it'll come out the trunk of a CD or whether you have to remove the rear glass.
