My car will not idle. It starts fine, but dies immediately if I don't use the throttle to keep the rpm above 500. Otherwise it runs fine. I managed to trick it into running by disconnecting a vacuum hose, which allows it to idle at 500rpm. A couple of weeks back, it had a high idle issue that I never did find the cause of (it went away on its own). Assuming the two symptoms are related, what are my likely suspects? AIC valve? CPS?
