Those thin molding strips above the center side moldings are not Factory. They are more than likely held on only with double sided adhesive tape.

Use a heat gun to warm them up before pulling them off. This will weaken the adhesive bond so they will pull off with out harming the paint. Then remove the remaining sticker goo on the side of the car with some 3m Wax and Adhesive remover.

Also try the heat gun to remove the pin stripe if it is the "sticker" type. Heat the stripe up just enough to get it warm. Then gently use a hard plasctic or wood scraper that has a beveled edge. When I removed the pinstriping on my '92 9000S I used a popsicle stick that I made a 45 degree bevel on one end. You just want enough light pressure to lift off the sticker without digging into the paint. Then clean the remaining residue off with the 3m stuff.

To upgrade the factory side mouldings (the lower wider ones with the chrome strip in them), you need to find a '90 - '92 9000 Turbo that's being parted out to get the All Black side mouldings from it - 12 pieces in all. Try junkyards or eBay for them.

These mouldings attach to the car by a plastic pin that clips on the backside of the mouding strip. The pin is pushed into a hole with a plastic gromet along the side of the car. They also have double sided trim tape at the bottom.

The best way to remove these is to start from one end of the moulding strip and work your way to the opposite end. Carefully pull the end out towards you and you'll see the mounting pins as you work your way down to the end of the strip. They should just pop right out when you get to each one. If you pull too hard you might pull the plastic gromet with the pin. If this happnes, carefully pry the gromet off the pin without messing it up and put it back into the hole in the body panel.

Then wash the side of the car to remove the dirt that was underneath the moulding strip and clean off the sticker goo with the 3m stuff.

Then all you have to do is take the "new" mouldings and put them on the car. Be sure to clean them and use 3m double sided trim adhesive tape on the lower edge.

Other things to do would be to get a good used Rear Spoiler from a '87 - '92 9000 Hatchback, getting the set of outer door handles from a Turbo car (they don't have the chrome strip in them), and if you can find them the Turbo Fender Flare's.
