Anyone ever aimed high beams?

I've been meaning to ask about this for ages, but since it's not the car I drive I keep forgetting.
One of our 9000s, the 98 CSE, has high beams that point to the pavement in front of the bumper, rather than the area in front of the car where they'd sure be more useful.
The low beams seem okay to my eyes.
Are these adjustable separately? According to my memory banks they're not (I'm thinking the reflectors are loose inside the housing). If anyone else has had a similar experience, I'd love to hear about it.
