No, I'm not talking about the boot. The eEuropart axle, end to end is almost 3/4" longer. The tripod is bottomed out in the driver and with the axle stub snugged into the wheel hub it's too long to allow the strut to be reattached at the bottom. This is an auto, but eEuroparts doesn't differentiate on the parts page - I rechecked. So now I've got both old axles out and clean and the old CV's off. I'll have to wait for two CV joints w/kits. Since the car is at 120k miles, I'm going to do the wheel bearing as well. I don't want to go in there again.
