93 CSE. I was getting bubbles of rust on the roof of the car, about an inch outside the perimeter of the sunroof opening, which I understand is typical for this year. I took the entire sunroof assembly ouy and immediately saw what the problem was. The weatherstripping that goes between the sunroof pan and the roof is made of absorbent foam! It gets soaked and then holds water right against the bare metal roof of the car and a nice line of rust forms all the way around. All they had to do was put a piece if tape all around and it wouldn't rust! Saab really dropped the ball on this one.

Okay, so much for the rant. My question is, has anyone repaired this problem and if so, what is the best way to arrest the rust?
