I'd agree that the leak is likely the hose at the reservoir. As to your floppy clutch, my question is this: does the clutch basically work? If it does, repair the leak, then don't touch it again.
I have never gotten my Dad's 92 to stop having the floppy clutch (sometimes it works normally, sometimes not) and these hydraulics are so prone to trouble that if you've got a provisionally working clutch I would strongly advise against tempting fate.
Not what you're wanting to hear but believe me I've been there.
