i did almost the same as bill said but because i too am also running 4gauge wire, diffrence in what i have i done is that i found a hole already in the firewall and didnt have to remove anything and it comes out in the cabin right by the clutch pedal, and you will have to add a gromet to keep it from cutting the wire. far as routing the wire i ran mines under the carpet down the center of the car because at the time i was putting it in the car i had all the interior removed because i not only have 2 amps i also have a navigation system. so i had to attach wires to the reverse lights, e-brake and also 3 sets of RCA wires but as for the power cable the wire was just to thick to run under the plastic panels thats why i ran it under the carpet instead.
