I also had a 87 SPG and, I really loved that Car, it had the complete airflow pkg and was all silver, the only upgrades I had was a larger turbo and exhaust, and wider tires. that car handled very well. I went from the Spg to a New 2000 900 SE turbo which was faster and handling was pretty close, but softer ride. now I have a 94 Aero, and I feel it is the best of them all. But tires make a huge difference on this car, the tires on it when i got the car handled real bad it would not corner well at all, I now run 225 50 16 and the car handles great, you need the recaro's! the 2000 se had a little more body roll but all in all both cars were a improvement over my 87, given performance, brakeing and handling.
