I've never had a problem with my TCS '93 Aero. It's never acted up, never left me in LHM, never even needed a part. I've had my car for 4 years and about two weeks.
At the same time that I say that it's never failed, having it work properly has been a headache on those 1-2 time per winter where I just want some wheel slippage to get momentum (like Ardent).
Would I rather my car not have it? Sure. Would I buy a different car if I had to do it over again? Nope.
Searching for an Aero in great shape, in my price range, took several months. TCS wasn't going to break the deal for me.
