Vibrations (not the good kind)

I’m close to my wits end on this one.
This question is in reference to a 1989 9k turbo CD. It comes equipped with the lovely automatic transmission.
I am experiencing a severe vibration almost all the time. When I write “vibration” I mean enough to vibrate the steering wheel. Not quite as bad as when you are crossing those stop sign ahead treads, but almost.
When I am stopped and then I start accelerating heavily, it seems to dissipate. As soon as I get to speed and let off on the gas, it shifts violently and vibrates horrendously. Otherwise when I reach my cruising speed, 25, 40, 50 doesn’t matter the vibration is still there. When I turn slightly to the right, it seems to increase in intensity and yet when I turn left, it drops off significantly. But this town isn’t made of left turns so I have to fix it, if possible.
Here it what I did so far trying to fix it. (Replaced both drive/half shafts. The nuts are tight to 210 ft lbs.) It seemed to be originating on the right side. Replaced the tie rod end and ball joint on right hand side. (I ordered the left side too; I just haven’t put them on.)
I also swapped a known good front hub on the right and also a known good set of wheels and tires. The lug bolts are tight on the wheels.
The start of this problem seemed to have been when I replaced the half shafts. The were supposed to have been rebuilt units.
I appreciate any wisdom anyone has to offer.
Thanks much, Eric
