Pull out the blinker relay, and pop the case off - usually by flexing the tabs at the bottom.

You'll see that the 'relay' is actually a circuit board, with an electromagnetic relay on it along with some electronics. The relay is held to the circuit board with big solder pads. Solder is intented to make an electrical connection, not a mechanical one, so vibration tends to crack the solder.

Basically, you want to re-flow the solder on the large pads you see. These would be pads holding the relay on, or connecting the circuit board to the lugs on the bottom of the assembly (the tangs that fit into the socket when the relay is plugged in). A touch of extra solder to make things flow nice, and to make sure you've got good contact between the lugs and the pad is nice. Typically you won't see the normal, smooth solder on the pad, but cracks and rough spots, due to the vibration.

Don't reflow on the small pads, the ones that connect the small electronics to the circuit board. First, due to the light weight of the components, those pads usually don't fail. Second, those parts are more sensitive to heat, and are easily damaged by soldering. With the big pads, the attachments are just wires and are pretty sturdy. So if you stick to the large pads, you're pretty safe, assuming you're using a soldering iron and not a torch. (just kidding - somewhat!)
