Hello all. Two quick questions:
--On my '93 9000 Turbo, my APC / BPC valve shows no continuity between the center terminal and one of the side terminals, while the other "leg" does show continuity. My boost is OK, but I think it's going higher than normal, into the red. Can I assume that the valve is good in one direction but bad in the other? What are the consequences, if any, of it allowing the higher boost (if I drive tenderly?) Also, assuming one of the solenoid coils inside the valve is shorted out, has anybody tried to repair one?
--I have already ordered and received a replacement valve from EEuro. It has very obviously been rebuilt or repaired ... there is a glue line all the way around it, various scuffs, etc. Has anyone else received such a part, and has it been satisfactory? The part is approx $190 and came from ScanTech -- it is the cheaper of two parts available from EEuro (the OEM part is $250).
All feedback appreciated.
--Graham
