'Scrunching' and clunk noise up front still

OK, I replaced the rotors (Brembo), a bad caliper and Saab OEM pads from Europarts a month ago. The caliper was sticking and causing bad shudder. BUT the main thing I hoped would improve was this rythmic scrunching noise that I kept hearing when I applied the brakes. It came back just a week or so after the new equipment was installed. It's a rubbery metal sound that goes scrunch..scrunch..scrunch..scrunch when I come to a stop. I also get a quick clunk once in a while when I back up while turning.
One thing I will admit that could have caused this is that a few years back I drove a little too long on warped rotors. It shook the front end badly when stopping from high speeds. This scrunch has been going on that long, but I always just thought it was pads, bad rotors or the caliper.
I have thought of just replacing the rear control arm bushings, ball joints, tie rod ends, sway bar links (one is bent where it comes thru the control arm) because that should be done anyway. I should do the control arm front bushings too since the local mechanic will be doing it.
Is there anything else that this is likely to be?
