To be more accurate... the problem is with a buddy's car. I'm not sure of the exact problem(s), but the car doesn't even drive. My buddy was asking me about eliminating the TCS system. I mentioned to him that to the best of my knowledge this could be done as per "mike d"'s experience on May 29, 2007. On that day, "mike d" wrote:
"yesterday i completed a sucessfull TCS delete on my 1992 9000 turbo, and i'm willing to help others, it was much much simpler than everybody has said, i did the whole thing in roughly 3 hours,, the only negative was that i no longer have cruise controll (poor me,, im crying.... NOT)
if anybody is looking for information id be more than willing to help, and i check the BB's regularly. so simply leave questions/comments
best wishs

This is why I think it can be done. Nonetheless, thinking more about it, it would seem difficult. Some how you have to re-work the wiring harnesses to factor in the "jetronic" fuel ecm as well as the "di/apc" unit under the driver's seat. Yet, according to "mike d", this was simple. Beats me!!! Do you have any ideas David?
