My 93 9000T 182k had a check engine light on but was running great. CEL showed 3 flashes so I removed the air intake temp sensor cleaned it with carburetor cleaner dried it off with a q-tip and reinstalled. Disconnected the battery for 5 minutes then started up the car. It started fine the check engine light disappeared and all was good with the world. Today went to start it up and it spits and sputters and will just not start. So I swapped out the temp sensor with one from a working car but no improvement. Could the carburetor cleaner have damaged something that didn't become apparent until the next day?
