Confirm No Low Speed Fan Diagnosis ?

Noticed the car has been running hotter than it's historical operation with an 82F thermoswitch and thermostat here in Miami. Today it was getting up to a little below red and then the high speed fan would kick in. It used to hang around 9 - 9:30 PM.
So, I guess I'm confirming no Low Speed Fan.
I jumped both the Low Speed Fan relay with the top and bottom slots and both jumps ran the fan. I also grounded each of the two 12 volt wires running to the 3 wire thermoswitch and both of those wires ran the fan.
That tells me the fuses are fine and operational, and the relays are fine and operational, that my wiring is OK, and that the fan and it's resistor is OK, correct?
Which leaves me the thermoswitch which must have failed for low speed operation.
I figure I'll put in an order tonite if I can, just hoping for confirmation in case I'm missing something obvious, been a long busy day...
Thanks for any help.
Aaron
