Hi fellow Saabers. I'm still in my good ol' 1994 9000 CS 2.3L Non.
For a long while, my AC compressor was causing the A/C compressor fuse to melt (not blow, but actually melt around the fuse anode). Later I discovered when I'd suffer enough to plug back in the AC fuse, the s belt would start to lip over the actual wheel. I've pretty much accepted my beloved 9000CS would just no longer have the capacity to run w/ the AC condensor. Funds keep me from just replacing the AC compressor.
I'm just wondering if there's anything else I could suspect to be the reason why the belt would shift a few mm over.
I've been prying the tensioner pulley and recentering the belt whenever I see it's started to shift.
May I get some input on this? I sure do love my car and want it to last me another 10 years.
