Is the clutch working? If the footwell is wet and your clutch still works perfectly, then it probably isn't the clutch- If it is spongy and the gears grind when you are trying to shift or the pedal does not return to where it is supposed to- then you got a problem.
I'll assume that the clutch is toast. Most likely place that will leak is behind the push-rod grommet that the pedal attaches to. Get a flashlight and use your fingers to find the leak. The other possibility is the feed tube from the reservoir to the master cylinder. Run your hand over that. If no leak is found in either place, the last place is the tubing connection at the back of the cylinder. Seeing that you have a leak outside also, my bet is the feed tube.
Now, if the inside of the car smells rather sweet when you get into the car, and your windows are all fogged up- guess what, you have the dreaded heater-core leak. Lots of help at Quasi's site!
I hope this helps,
Repost when you find something out.
