Well, as I had posted last week within another thread, my idler pulley disintegrated while driving to work. I was able to get the car into a parking lot and turn off the engine, but the coolant did boil in the overflow tank. It wasn't for long, and was only down by about 2 pints of coolant after I fixed the problem and refilled the reservoir.

Now I see and smell a lot of blue smoke from the exhaust. This leads me to believe the engine is burning oil due to a blown head gasket since it overheated. Does my thinking sound right?

I cannot believe this happened, as I just had the gasket replaced a year ago due to a previous overheating issue when the thermostat was stuck. Are these cars that sensitive to overheating? In all my years of owning vehicles, it seems only Saab's have this type of issue with overheating.
