There is a round socket on the back of your Clarion head unit (plus I think you can add a cable tie for security). If there is a cable in there it may or may not be pre-connected to the head unit - either way, it will dive off down the back and head for the trunk area, behind the left-hand wheel arch, via the covers over the door sills (which you can take off) and then under the carpets. This connects to the 6-cd changer you can buy.

You might have to rummage around or pull out stuff (the ashtray and ACC for instance) to find the cable, and some cars don't have them pre-fitted (see my previous post) though maybe all US cars did, no idea about that.

The single in-dash unit would connect to the same socket, with its own cable. I understand that you can't have both a trunk and an in-dash player connected at once, unless you buy an adapter.

The changer that goes in the trunk is a Clarion DC 625 (may be different versions of this) and is cheap to buy online. Mine seems to work with any discs I throw at it and it's much less prone to jump or misbehave than a Sony one I had in another 9000.
