As the old ABS system goes, the codes and warning light reset itself as soon as the fault is found and repaired and the car driven above a certain speed.
I have a tester like that but it is very rare that I use it, mostly now because these cars are getting scarce and most problems are known and how to fix them.
It's more of a novelty tool today and I wouldn't pay any money for it.
