I noticed a fiberglass "tail" behind my Starla muffler today. A solid 5 feet I'd say! Has anyone else had theirs come apart like this? The muffler is about 5 years old, but is otherwise in great shape so I'd hate to have to replace it. Aside from looking a little goofy, can this cause other issues, such as plugging up the muffler, reducing economy and performance? So far I haven't noticed any changes, but I actually wouldn't mind a bit more of an aggressive sound from the exhaust.
