This makes me drool right now, imagine how many MP3s fit on just 1 DVD!:

(Can be had for around $100 right now, and if video is desired a screen

But since I already have one of the same brand that precedes it and I will
be changing cars soon, I'll hold off, and:

Instead, I want to tell folks here that I've had one of these 'cheapo'
car stereos in my daily driver for most of 2 years now with no trouble.

What I like the best about it is having unlimited choices of what to
play without having anything bulky to carry as well as being able to put
together new 'mixes' in a minute at my PC because the one I have - like
the one above, has both USD and an SD card reader !
I can put a load of MP3 files on a thing the size of a postage stamp !
Enough for hours of listening on each tiny card - my whole library now
fits into a Altoids tin !!!

Of course I am not super fussy about the sound quality or power but this
is good enough and loud enough for driving with windows open; and it is
also nice and clean and clear for when they are shut.

My conclusion is that a person can indeed get a very nice music system
for a decent price with great features if they look around a bit.
(And I simply cannot imagine having to carry around a folder of CDs now !)
