I didn't see your question at your previous post. If there's excessive voltage drop across the positive battery cable, then you replace the positive battery cable. Alternatively, you could cut off two inches of the cable at the battery end, connect it to a new battery terminal clamp, and re-test. My positive battery cable was internally corroded over its proximal end. When we began cutting off some of the proximal end of the cable, you could see the corrosion inside. The distal end (at the starter) was OK.
Measuring voltage drop: The method involves measuring the voltage across the positive and negative battery terminals, then measuring it between the negative battery terminal and the starter end of the positive battery cable. Ideally, you get the same reading, meaning that there's no resistance along the positive battery cable, but at worst, the readings should differ by no more than a few tenths of a volt. Anything less than about 12V at the starter end will not get the solenoid to engage, so your starter will spin freely without engaging the teeth on the flywheel.
