I put a trailer hitch on the back of my Aero the other day which got me to thinking....can you use a 9000 to tow another 9000 if you were using a car dolly? Tongue weight would be virtually nil with a car dolly, so it would just be the pull weight on the hitch and rear bumper support.
I know well how everything is bolted together, and it would really come down to the weak spot being the threads on the bolts which pass through the body of the car, and into the rear bumper support. The hitch I put on was one of the L-shaped ones that bolts straight to the backside of the support with (3) bolts.
My gut feel is that as long as you were careful and didn't try to take off at an alarming rate from a stop sign, that a 9000 would tow a dolly with another 9000 behind it just fine.
Your thoughts??
