Hose blowing off intake during hard acceleration!

Gentlemen
I have a 96 Aero w/autobox and there is a hose (w/a metal fitting) thats blowing off the back side of the intake just past the throttle body during hard acceleration. Like on the highway hard, not trying to spin tires at at the stop sign hard.
See the pics. I haven't looked at the diagram on the car yet, but its running along the intake down towards the belt side of the engine. Perhaps to the canister? Whats different about it (especially from my hall effect 2.0) Is that it has a metal fitting. I never looked at it before it blew off the first time but there is no seal. Just metal to metal. Is this correct? Not sure if this hose should be more secure or if something is allowing for the air to discharge at this area during boost. Anyone see this before, when its in place...no vacuum leaks. Car runs strong and smooth with acceptable gas mileage. Any ideas? Thanks.
