wind noise - window adjustment?

My driver's window is really loud at highway speeds. I can't find any bad weather stripping, so it's kind of mysterious. It occurs to me that I heard the previous owner say that he had replaced the window regulator for that door, so I'm wondering if he didn't get something adjusted right. I think the window is not going up quite as far as it should. It doesn't have to be off by much to make a noise, I've confirmed this on the other side.
Can someone who has replaced a window regulator weigh in on this?
