Hi...I have a 1996 9000CS, 76,000 miles, auto, well maintained. Quite suddenly this started happening -- When I first start it in the morning there's a little rattling noise from the engine for about 2 seconds and the oil light stays on maybe a second more that it does normally. This only happens the first time it's started in perhaps 12 hours, the rest of the time, even if the engine is cold, it's fine. I checked the timing chain tensioner for chain wear and it's well within limits. What else should I be checking, before diving into the internals? I can't tell where the light rattling noise is coming from (yet). Thanks for your input....
