Hi Joe, the window breaking function, I think, is present in earlier models. I pretty sure that my 1992 9000CD has it, you can tune it so that having a harley, or jet plane, going by doesn't set it off (which does happen from time to time... horn, flashing lights, all kinds of hate and discontent...lol).
I'll have to look closer at the alarm portion of it, I did do some deep Saab EPC diving and it looks like it might work. There is a different alarm box for 92 and then there is a 94-98 box. of course there are also NLA parts from both directions and I am going to delve deeper into that too. I do know that the alarm on my 1992 will trigger if you open the front passenger door, using the key even, was always a pet peeve of mine - couldn't open the door for your date, but on the 94 and 96, the front doors as well as the hatch all turn the alarm off. However, if you sit in the back seat, and have someone lock the car from the outside, and you open the back door, at least on my 92 the alarm goes off. will have to test this on my 94!
Would you know if the *receiver* for the remote is in the alarm box? that would be sweet...
