Now that its July - I notice my AC is not working.
Earlier - same issues - i added r 134 -- all was well.
AC compressor will not kick in - unless I jump the wire on the top of the compressor to a 12 volt source. That kicks the compresor in - car cools = all is well. Disconnet the hot wire - compressor shuts down.
Low side pressure is at like 45 - 50 so seems in range.
Ran an ACC test - gives me error codes 6 C and 7 C drum or flap motor issues - but the current settings seem fine what when i hot wire the compressor - and if it aint broke - or broke in a way I get AC when hot wired - why fix it?
Posts on the site talk about possible AC pressure switch or relay issues.
Which way do I go first? Try to run down the wiring issues to the compressor?
Would the ACC error codes lead to no power to the compressor?
Can i just hot wire in the compressor for July and August?
thanks
Shawn C
