Perhaps someone has the official code explanation, but "Electric Detonator 1 Resistance High" does not sound like how I would describe the left side accelerometer. It does sound like the error code you would get if the connection from the SRS computer to the Airbag in the steering wheel was broken. (A break in the path would yield a very high resistance, indeed.)
The most common source for a break in that circuit is the clock spring in the steering wheel. You can remove the air bag and check the clock spring to see if that is the problem. If it is, the repair is relatively easy, but you will need an ISAT or TECH II to reset the computer once a new clock spring is installed.
