I have a 1995 9000 Aero.
I have a weird, multi-symptom electrical failure. Can someone look up these systems and see what they have in common?
When I open a door, the dome light does not come on. That's all four doors. When I open the driver's side door, the passenger side "open door marker light" glows faintly, but the driver's side doesn't. When I put it in reverse, none of the back up lights turn on, but I get the "trunk open" indicator on the dash. When I try to turn on the dome light or the mini-spot light using the overhead switches, neither light works, but the "trunk open" indicator lights. After I start the car, the dome light and the mini-spot light works.
There is a buzz in the passenger side dashboard just after either front door is closed. It sounds like a solenoid buzzing back and forth, but it runs down in in about two seconds.
None of the light bulbs have been replaced recently. All the other lights work.
Is there some component whose failure could tie all this together?
