The check valves are more or less under the washer fluid bottle. To get at them take off the passenger side tar impregnated cardboard sheet that is under it (engine bay panel?). Each check valve has a small vent hole that leaks if the diaphragm is broken. It is also not uncommon for an aged line to come off a fitting. Once you have the panel off it should be obvious where the leak is.
