Hey all!

I have larger tires on the rear of my 1992 9000T 5spd (225/45/17 rear & 215/40/17 front). I just recently put on the smaller front tires and thats when I started having issues with my TCS kicking on under ANY acceleration. Before that I had 215/45/17 up front and hadn't any BIG issues with the TCS. The TCS would kick on under hard acceleration without tire slippage and I had a check engine light but the issue was livable. Now the TCS kicks on and makes normal driving almost impossible...it certainly takes the fun out of it. I can accelerate hard in 1st and 5th without issue. Its around 3000-4000 RPM where the TCS kicks on no matter how hard I'm accelerating. I'm wondering if the problem could be specific to the different tire sizes or something else.

A year ago I replaced the electronic/vacuum solenoid near the upper motor mount on the false bulkhead and along with it the little white plastic check valve.

My brother had a sketchy TCS bypass wiring job done on his '92 9000T and the TCS still kicks on occasionally but he can still break the tires loose. He recently had a similar problem with his car after driving it 200 miles after letting it sit for 3 months. A couple places told him it was an issue with a clogged air intake, other places told him it was fuel delivery related, but Roberti SAAB found it was a bad AMM. I don't want to pay to have someone else chase the problem around...is it the tire size difference or...what should I be checking to try and solve the problem myself?

Any advice is much appreciated! THANKS!

-Daven
