What do the plugs tell you? Are they running a little lean??
This is going to be a pain, but disconnect the cat from the down pipe and examine the honeycomb. Hopefully, it will be clear with no fused cells. This problem sounds like it is a spool up lag-time problem and a plugged cat or other exhaust element certainly could do it.
So, no fault codes: there is nothing seriously out of wack.
We have good plugs- no fouling
Have you checked fuel pressure?
Maybe a weak DI- but I don't think so.
Premium fuel- Run it for the entire adaptation period.
I'm still coming back to what Street says about the adaptation data, so that is an important starting point.
Maybe a funky MAP sensor, coolant temp sensor? feeding bad data to the ECU.
Forgive, I'm just thinking with my fingers. FUEL, AIR and FIRE.
Like Ari says, "We just love to speculate!" Please, keep feeding us data.
