It may show some faults. Or not. And no faults is *not* definitive.
The heater air box in the aquarium is only part of the air routing. There is a lever on the side of it with a stiff wire "cable" that is actuated by the ACC. That moves air into the passenger compartment. But in the center of the dash is the box that does the routing of air inside the car. There is a lever on the lower right side of this that is actuated by the ACC via another stiff wire. A malfunctioning ACC can result in this lever not moving, resulting in limited/no heat or air. But the ACC may test OK. This happened on my '95 CS (daughter's). Fixed with a used ACC.
You can feel if the lever moves by running the ACC and changing the settings when it's not in the dash but still connected. If the lever doesn't move you are closing in on one issue.
