Hi, did you have your headlights on? do you have DRL, daytime running lights enabled? Do you have your foot on the brake during and after turning the key off? If yes to any of the above, 1st take the orange and red headlight relays out and start the car and then shut off, ** with foot off brakes **. If that works properly, put the relays back in and do again with headlight switch off please. If *that* works do it with your foot on the brakes and shut off. If that works, do it one last time with the headlights on and the brakes on. At this point if it keeps running, with emergency brake on and in park or neutral as appropriate, take foot off brake, if still running turn headlights off.
Tell me where it failed? Have you had, or done yourself, any tail light bulbs changed? If so, check to make sure you have single filament bulbs in single sockets and dual filaments in dual sockets. There is a very wild voltage feedback via the tail lights with reverse voltage that keeps the car running when incorrect bulbs are installed AND either the brake or running (headlights do this) lights are on.
