You can do an adaptation run at some point, but I wouldn't worry all that much about it. Just the upgrade will get you a lot more poke and the car will be much more fun to drive. The ECU adapts to how you drive, so it will begin adapting up if you accelerate fairly hard a few times
When doing an A-run on a CS you won't have a boost gauge to show max boost. There's a procedure on here if you search, but basically you want to be on a steep hill to really load the engine and keep the engine between 2500 and 3200 for 4 seconds at full boost, and do it 3-4 times. I usually do this this in 5th gear, but be aware that you will go between 70 and 85-ish, so do this VERY carefully.
