It only did it randomly at first, dying for a second or two. It slowly got worse and worse to where hitting the speedo cluster or dash would not turn it back on. I had checked the connections prior to ordering a used speedo cluster to grab the EDU out of. Everything was clean and tight.
I swapped out the EDU's, kept her old speedo, gauges etc and things work perfectly now. The worst part of the EDU dying was the A/C compressor would not kick in to cool.
