SO, what do yousuggest we do... Posted by PGAero [Email] ![]() ![]() In Reply to: Thought I got away from this moving from C900 Board, RayF, Tue, 23 Sep 2008 08:26:28 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I agree that asking what the "best" _______ is for the car is kinda silly. However, the original poster asked about A/S tires and commented that s/he "like[s] tires with strong sidewalls that don't sway an roll at 65 (which the Yoko's do terrible)." The original inquiry didn't even ask what the best tire for the 9000 is. It simply wanted to get suggestions on A/S tires that exhibit certain characteristics (or lack them).
I understand you being tired of discussions, but what do you suggest be done differently. If we can't converse here, what's the point? As I see it, you've done nothing more than discount the opinions of the people who've posted here on a whole bunch of topics. Sure, some posts offer very little in the way of quantitative information, but by reading between the lines, most people can gain information that is of value to them in the course of discussion.
It's said that walking a mile in someone else's shoes goes a long ways in understanding them. The original poster has asked those of us who've driven thousands of miles on a certain pair of shoes to give our feedback. I don't think it's a waste of time.
If you think it's waste of time, then don't spend your time reading our interminable discourse.
