Did using Techron do this?

For the last few weeks, I've been noticing blue smoke coming out of the tailpipe during the first few miles of driving each day, which also has the smell of burning oil. So I assumed this to be leaking valve seals since it was only happening during the first few miles of driving, always after the car had been sitting for hours or overnight.
I decided to put in the big bottle of Techron yesterday and filled the fuel tank with gas. I had never used it before, and have been experiencing lackluster performance with boost, and this was the next step in my diagnosis (after having done some of the other things).
By the time I got home from my 60-mile commute, blue smoke was pouring out of the tailpipe, non-stop. It had the smell of oil burning.
Did the Techron eat up whatever remained of the valve seals? Did it clean away whatever might have been there, helping the deteriorated valve seals to hold back the oil? Is it the Techron itself being burned as it's mixed with the fuel?
