I was hoping someone could help point me in the right direction. I have a 1994 Saab 9000 CS (non-turbo). The problem I'm having is that when I turn the headlights on, they work for 15 minutes then they shut off, and 25 minutes later they come back on. This is a pretty consistent behavior and I don't really know where to start looking for the problem. It is only the headlights that shut off after 15 minutes, the rear lights, the front side lights, and the blinkers and interior lights all work normally, but the headlights just shut off. I've tried turning the car off and back on, but the lights stay off until the 25 minutes are up. I've described the issue to a few mechanics who have just shrugged and suggested I don't drive at night. I get the feeling that they think its a wiring issue and no one wants to trace the problem or rewire the whole car. I was wondering if anyone might have any idea's of things I could try to narrow down the problem to either the headlights themselves or if there might be a larger wiring problem with the car. Thanks for any help.
