I accidentally killed the battery yesterday at work - left the running lights on for about nine hours, and found the battery voltage at 9.something when I tried to start it. Of course, it groaned over once, and then quit completely. Once I got it jumped, however, I noticed that the battery voltage readout on the EDU was only in the mid-13's, and by the time I got home a half-hour later, it had only raised to approx. 13.9 volts. I had thought I should be seeing something in the mid-14's from the moment I got it jumped, or at the very least shortly after having got it started. Am I missing something here?
