I have a 91' 9000 with 197K on the clock and as I'm the 3rd
owner, I have no idea if the tranny has been replaced and its
recently purchased.
If I'm starting off in first and shift into 2nd at a very low
speed, it doesn't grind 98% of the time.
If I start off in first and rev the motor up and then shift, it
pretty much grinds on the up-shift to 2nd every time.
Note that it seems to downshift into 2nd with no issues.
Is this a total transmission failure, or is there something else
I can service, or change?
Other than this and an ignition switch issue, the car runs great,
turbo pulls good and it doesnt leak a drop of anything.
